Lane Training Range
Have you ever played paintball or lasertag? Well, you'll play it Army style, with M16A2's fitted with laser tag adapters and kevlar/body sensors. 6 shots, you're dead... and of course, the goal is to stay alive.

Lane Training begins with a class on low-crawl techniques, including wall scaling and the procedure for passing under barbed and constantine wire. You will then run such a course and go immediately into the lasertag lane training portion. Here, you and your battle buddy will move through the woods at 3-5 second dash intervals, "covering" one another alternately by rifle fire. You are shooting "blanks", but the laser apparatus attached to your M16A2 is working. In the woods around you are drill sergeants and others whose goal is to kill you. Set up along this woodland course are various obstacles as well, to be scaled and crawled under/around respectively.

In the afternoon, you will again run lane training, but with live rounds. The paths you and your battle buddy run diverge (envision a "V" shape with the starting point the base of the V), in order to avoid accidental injury. Along your path are points to drop and shoot targets, and the exercise ends with the throwing of a "pop" grenade at a target of about 30 yards. If you are ever called into combat, the skills you've learned today will be invaluable to keeping yourself alive.
